The college was founded with a mission to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs, ensuring that students are equipped with both theoretical understanding and hands-on expertise.

1981

in 1981 in the native village of the Col.D.S Raju, Poduru village of West Godavari District with the funds acquired by the Medical EducationSociety of Kakinada Col.D.S Raju polytechnic college has started.

Name

Named after a renowned person, Colonel D.S. Raju, the first FRCS in the state and a freedom fighter who worked in the Central Cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru and the personal Physician of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Col. D.S.Raju

Branches

Col.D.S.Raju. Started with only two branches, Civil Engineering and Mech in its incipient period, the Polytechnic introduced three more branches namely ECE, Electrical and EEE and CSE in the years 1984, 1996 and 1997 respectively.

43Years

Civil Engineering had to be wound up in the Polytechnic and a Second Shift is also introduced from the year 2008 and the Polytechnic is running successfully for the last 43 Years with Four Branches
